Barrel 55 bbr, established 2018,  is one of Brookville’s newest restaurant, bar and bakery.  Our doors opened for the first time during the 2018 Gingerbread tour. Located at 325 West Main Street Brookville Pa, (across from Sheetz and the car wash) we offer delicious entrees in a casual environment. Each meal is prepared at the time of your order by our Culinary team and made using the freshest ingredients.   

Brenda and Jackie are the owners of this adventure after 9 years of running a bakery and small cafe.  We started this journey when looking for a place to move our bakery ovens and equipment to the wonderful Historic town of Brookville.  While looking for a new location to bake, we came across the Forest Way Inn Bar and Grill for sale sign. One thing led to another and we finally purchased this location.  As the location came with a liquor license, we decided to incorporate the bakery into a Restaurant and bar.  As a result, Barrel 55 bbr (Restaurant, Bar and Bakery) was established.

The remodeling efforts initially were done in 4 phases, first opening the restaurant and bar while keeping Loafin Bakery open in the Historic Downtown Brookville.  Phase 2 was completed in 2019 when we opened our Bakery.  Phase 3 & 4 including enhancing our building by adding "D" log siding and building an outdoor deck. Brenda promises not to initiate any more remodeling phases and by doing so has scheduled the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the B.A.C.C (Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce) to be held on July 22, 2020.   

Many customers ask why the 55 in our name!  55 is our double nickle adventure as we both started the BBR at the age of 55.   (Who does such a thing????)

We work every day to present to you a fine dining experience incorporating local products, culinary craft and sweetness into our dishes.    To us, 55 is The Best Number in Town!
